Ahhh, the “ Hope you Die before something bad happens” theory. They do a


test to measure the frequencies that you have lost the ability to hear… mostly caused by years of loud volumes of sound. Then they give you a device that AMPLIFIES those particular frequencies, along with every other sound around you. Uh, doesn’t that eventually make your hearing worse? I wear hearing aids as well and they are quite helpful, but I’ve always been struck by that dilemma!
